Monstrous intensive animal prisons

The activist movement L214.com has made an extensive survey of intensive rearing in France, and this video is the result. Whilst the commentary is in French, the meaning will not be lost.

Each year, 1.2 billion animals (pigs, chickens, calves, cows etc) are killed for food in France.

Added to this is the alarming fact that no less than 80% of these animals are raised in intensive systems, deprived of access to the outdoors and subjected to particularly cruel living conditions.
