Who says growth matters?

Watch any politician, read any newspaper, and all you will hear is that economic growth is the key to our survival. It isn't! Our planet wasn't made to be exploited on an ever-increasing scale. No other animal exploits Planet Earth like the human animal. Politicians only tell you we need more growth (which they will tell you generates more money for us) as a way to get, and to stay, elected. When did you last hear a politician say otherwise?
